Woman’s Day Magazine Recognizes Crested Butte Mountain Resort as One of the “Ten Soaring Ski Resorts”

Mt. Crested Butte, CO - Crested Butte Mountain Resort was recognized as one of the “Ten Soaring Ski Resorts” in the world by Woman’s Day Magazine, a lifestyle publication in print for over 70 years. As one of only ten resorts named in the article, and the only Colorado ski resort on the list, Crested Butte Mountain Resort joined other locations such as Chamonix-Mont, France; Whistler, British Columbia, Canada; and Kitzbühel, Austria. Crested Butte Mountain Resort was selected due to the variety of skiing, from gentle and scenic beginner terrain to the highest number of double-black ski runs in the state of Colorado. The selection process also identified the resort’s high quality of guest service and après ski activities. Frequently referred to as one of the “last real ski towns”, the resort offers an intimate and genuine experience to visitors through both the small Victorian era town, and the modern base area amenities.

  1. I am not a great skiier but I did ski in ski resort towns where I like the most. Have a great fun and joy with it all.
