92.5 The River MUSIC ON THE MOUNTAIN Concert at Cranmore Aug. 5th

N. Conway, NH - Cranmore Mountain today announced the line up for the new 92.5 The River Music on the Mountain concert slated for Aug. 5, 2010. Headlined by the Atlantic Records recording artists, NEEDTOBREATHE, with Vermont’s Grace Potter and the Nocturnals plus opener Robert Francis from LA, the concert promises to bring a dynamic musical assortment to Cranmore’s slopes, right in the heart of North Conway Village, NH. The concert is sponsored in part by Newcastle Brown Ale, Cranmore Mountain Resort & 92.5 The River.

NEEDTOBREATHE hail from Possum Kingdom, South Carolina and formed in 1999. On their latest album, The Outsiders, NEEDTOBREATHE has truly come into their own, seamlessly blending arena-ready soundscapes with a decidedly Southern sensibility. Tracks from that album currently heard on 92.5 The River include "The Outsiders," "More Time," "Something Beautiful" and "Washed by The Water."

The band has honed their live show the old-fashioned way - putting in the time, spending years on the road. Aside from their skillful musicianship, there's a spontaneous energy that intangibly connects them with their audience, and their powerful performances have helped build a dedicated fan base that's been clamoring for The Outsiders.
