Plattsburgh, NY - Armed with hundreds of lift tickets, the Whiteface “Road Warriors” will be in Plattsburgh, N.Y., Saturday, Aug. 28, looking for people who want to ski and ride Whiteface for free this winter.

So how do you come away these tickets for the upcoming 2010-11 ski and riding season? Be decked-out in your winter gear including goggles, helmet and boots when the Road Warriors visit the Champlain Centre Mall, from 1-3 p.m.; Plattsburgh State University, from 4-6 p.m.; and the Naked Turtle, from 6:30 p.m. until the party finishes. While at the Naked Turtle, you’ll also have the chance to win skis, courtesy of Budweiser.

Whiteface Road Warriors Hit Albany

Albany, NY - If you missed out on your chance to win free lift tickets, last weekend in Lake George, N.Y., to ski or ride Whiteface this winter, here’s another chance. The Whiteface Road Warriors will be back in New York’s Capital Region, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 13-14, with even more tickets and great prizes to give away when they visit Albany.

What do you need to do to win? It’s easy. On Friday, the Whiteface Road Warriors will be at the Farmer’s Market Friday, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and Red Square, from 8-10 p.m., Saturday, they’ll be at the Cross Gates Mall (in front of Best Buy)11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., plus other mystery locations those two days looking for you to show up wearing your winter ski gear, including a helmet, goggles, skis or ski boots. If you’re spotted dressed for winter… you’ll automatically win a lift ticket to ski Whiteface this 2010-’11 ski season.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the Whiteface Road Warriors the remainder of this summer. Next weekend, Aug. 20-22, you’ll find them in Saratoga, N.Y. This fall, trips are also planned to New York City and across the border into Canada to promote the great skiing and riding at Whiteface.

Whiteface Mountain is sending out their Road Warriors to find winter enthusiasts and hook them up with lift tickets and other cool stuff.

The Whiteface Road Warriors will be at the Million Dollar Beach, Campgrounds, Main Street, and other mystery locations in Lake George, N.Y. this Saturday, looking for you to show up wearing your winter ski gear, including a helmet, goggles, skis or ski boots. If you’re spotted dressed for winter… you’ll automatically win a lift ticket to ski Whiteface this 2010-’11 ski season.
