Sugar Bowl's Daron Rahlves Named Ambassador For Learn To Ski and Snowboard Month

Donner Summit, CA - Sugar Bowl Resort ambassador Daron Rahlves has recently added “Learn To Ski & Snowboard Month” to his long list of ski industry stewardship endeavors. Started in 2007, Learn to Ski & Snowboard Month encourages children and adults alike to take up the sport by taking lessons from professional ski and snowboard instructors. Every January more than 300 resorts nation-wide participate in the program.

Rahlves, a recent inductee into the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame who has called Sugar Bowl home for the last eleven years, states that "There is no better place to learn than Sugar Bowl!" The resort's season-long General Admission Program offers free rentals and a free lesson with every qualifying lift ticket, making it easy, convenient and cost-effective for new skiers and riders to take up the sport.
