Revelstoke, BC - With over 300cm of snowfall to date and a 100+cm base,
Revelstoke Mountain Resort is excited to open the ski lifts for the first day of the 2012/13 ski and snowboard season this Saturday December 1, 2012. For opening operations, skiers and riders will have access to both The Stoke and The Ripper high speed quad lifts with open terrain details dependent on weather conditions and snowfall between now and December 1st. The Revelation Gondola will be open for first upload at 8:30am and last download at 3:00pm (downloading on the Revelation Gondola will be mandatory until conditions permit skiing below the base of the Stoke Chair).
Special offers for the start of the season include a 15% discount on lift tickets based on the regular Ticket Window Rate (not to be combined with any other offer and in effect until ski terrain opens down to the Mid-Mountain Lodge) along with Ski and Stay packages from just $89 per person/night (based on double occupancy). The Lake Louise Plus Card is also on sale and offers card holders three free days of skiing and daily $20 lift ticket discounts at four top resorts including Revelstoke Mountain Resort, the Lake Louise Ski Area, Panorama Mountain Village, and Castle Mountain.
