Celebrate All That Summer Offers

Girdwood, AK - Join us for a celebration of the lush blueberry season at the fourth annual Bluberry Festival on August 21 & 22 from noon until 6 pm in the pond courtyard of The Hotel Alyeska.

This outdoor event features arts, crafts and food booths, food and wine demonstrations, guided hikes, disc golf tournament and pie-eating contest. The live music line-up includes Scout & the Harmonica Guy, Sarahndipity, AK Popstars, Bootleg Brown and the 11:20's.

Strings and Solstice at Alyeska Resort

On the Daylodge lawn, festival gates open at noon. Music from 1 pm to midnight. Beer Garden, food and local arts & crafts booths, too.

Summer Freeride Camp

Girdwood, AK - Take your freestyle skills to the next level at Alyeska Summer Camp - two sessions June 7 to 18. Consider this your own private terrain park. Half-pipe also in the works. Camp is open to all ages of intermediate level and above. (Must be comfortable on Chair 6 terrain.) Learn more with low coach-to-camper ratio. Our relaxed coaching atmosphere is flexible and fun. Camp also includes demo equipment supplied by select sponsors. Protect your head, bring the helmet.

Extended Ski Season
Girdwood, AK - Just a few more runs! Alyeska Resort is extending its winter season for May skiing and riding. The Tram and Chair 6 will run to access the higher elevation where there is still plenty of snow. The May schedule is weather dependent. Please call the SKI-SNOW hotline (754-7669) or visit the online snow report each morning to confirm mountain operations.

Spring Carnival



Girdwood, AK - The bad news: Winter's almost over. The good: The snow's still here. Celebrate the end of ski season and the perfect combination of sun and snow at Alyeska
Resort during Spring Carnival, the biggest bash of the year.

2010 Spring Carnival is presented by ACS Alaska.
Saturday, April 24 - Slush Cup Pond
2 pm: Hawaiian Reggae with H3
3:30 pm: Idiot Swim Across
4 pm: Slush Cup

Alyeska Resort encourages responsible consumption of alcohol and recommends a designated driver. In accordance with state of Alaska liquor laws, outside alcohol is not permitted and will be confiscated. The resort does not allow pets or firearms on premises. Beer gardens and food tents will be set up at the event venue. Parking is limited, please carpool.

Spring Loaded


Girdwood, AK - Take advantage of April's late afternoon sunshine and soft snow with Alyeska's new spring lift hours. The resort will run chairlifts from 11 am to 6 pm beginning April 1st.

Easter at Alyeska
Join us on Easter Sunday, April 4 for a free Tram ride to Glacier Express for a Sunrise Service with Pastor Jim Doepken from 7:30 - 8:30 am.
Afterwords the Easter Bunny will join the kids in the Pond Courtyard of The Hotel Alyeska for an old fashioned Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 9:15 am.
