Camelback Mountain Resorts Hosts Brood from TLC'S TABLE FOR 12

Tannersville, PA - The Hayes Family from the popular TLC show TABLE FOR 12 visited Camelback for a day of skiing and tubing at the end of January. They enjoyed a great day as they learned to ski from the Camelback Snow Sports instructors and experienced some great runs down the tubing chutes!
Nine of the children, along with their father Eric, rented equipment and learned the ins and outs of skiing. After a successful day on the slopes, the entire family headed to the CBK Tubing Park. The family had a great time slipping and sliding down the 18 chutes at the park. They also warmed up by the outdoor CBK tubing firepit. It was a great day had by all!
"The Hayes family had a great time at our mountain learning to ski," said Jerry Lawlor, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Camelback Mountain Resort. "The entire family really enjoyed the CBK tubing park as well. They used some of the double tubes and chained them together so they could ride down as a group," continued Lawlor.

Next Saturday, February 13th you can ski/ride for free for the day if you are dressed like Captain Morgan. You must be dressed in hat, beard, pants and sword to qualify. Come to Guest Services when you arrive for your lift ticket.

Dress Like Captain Morgan this Saturday and Ski/Ride for Free

Tannersville, PA - This Saturday, January 16th, we are hosting another "Dress Like the Captain" day. Please come to Guest Services fully dressed as the Captain, including, hat, jacket, pants, beard and sword to receive your free lift ticket for the day. You will also be entered into the contest to ski or ride Sunday, January 17th with the National Captain from 1pm to 3 pm and attend a VIP party at the Glen Lodge from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

"This is a fun day at the Mountain because seeing all of the "Captains" on the slopes and in the terrain park adds to the atmosphere." said Charles Blier, General Manager/Executive Vice President at Camelback Mountain Resort. He continued, "We are also holding a halfpipe competition at noon on Saturday, so there is a lot going on this weekend."

Half Pipe Competition and National Captain Morgan Skiing this Weekend at Camelback Mountain Resort

Tannersville, PA - On Saturday January 16, 2010, Camelback Mountain Resort will have an in-house Halfpipe competition. Registration will take place from 8am to 10:30am in the Big Pocono Family Eatery.
Practice will take place from 11am to 12pm. There will be two heats for each age group. The top three from each group will move directly to the finals and battle for podium position. Thousands of dollars of prizes will be donated by The Loft, Camelback Mountain Resort and the ski shop consignment program.

We will also be riding with the National Captain Morgan captain on Sunday, January 17th. He will be on the slopes from 1-3 pm skiing with local winners from "Dress Like the Captain" events that have taken place over the last few weeks.
"We have a great weekend coming up. The halfpipe competition is always exciting. It is energizing to see the range of ages that come to compete and show off their skills in this event," said Charles Blier, General Manager/Executive Vice President of Camelback Mountain Resort.
