Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort will operate lifts one final weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 5th and 6th. The Mt. Hood Express, Cascade Express, Buttercup and Ballroom Carpet conveyer are scheduled from 9 AM – 3 PM each day. Lift tickets will be discounted to $49.
The resort has operated 163 continuous days since opening November 19 – one of the longest seasons in North America. The forecast is promising some new snow for Saturday, and sunshine for Sunday – an appropriate end to a season which brought more than 550 inches of snowfall to the resort.
Meadows will operate its ski and snowboard school for lessons, rentals, retail shops, and Day Care. The Paradise Sun Deck and theSchuss will be open, as well as the Alpenstube for dining. Rose City and the Zoo parks will offer freestyling, and the SuperPipe will also be cut for the weekend.
