Loveland Derby Celebrates 50 Years - This Weekend! The Loveland Derby is the largest amateur race in North America and this weekend the event celebrates its 50th anniversary! The Derby will take place at Loveland Valley with a special alumni race and apres party on April 16th. All racers are invited to come out and celebrate the end of the 09-10 season with costumes, BBQs and fast paced racing fun for the entire family.
Charity Poker Run This Saturday! This Saturday, April 17th, Sunglass Management Design will be hosting a charity Poker Run at Loveland Ski Area. All proceeds from this event will go to the Autism Society of Colorado. Autism is a disorder of the brain that is currently affecting 1 in 135 children in Colorado. Register the morning of on the patio for only $50 including a lift ticket, or $20 if you already have a pass. Then ski around the mountain to visit the dealers and build your hand. The best hand at the end of the day wins. Tons of prizes, live music and great skiing all for a good cause!
