N. Conway, NH - Cranmore Mountain is planning another music-filled summer on its slopes with the return of the long-running Arts Jubilee concert series, an encore concert sponsored by Newcastle Brown Ale and the addition of a fundraiser concert in partnership with the Mount Washington Observatory.
The concerts kick off on Thursday, July 15 at 6pm when Arts Jubilee presents the Best of Stone Mountain LIVE with Carol Noonan and the Stone Mountain Boys . National recording artist and critically acclaimed singer songwriter Carol Noonan hosts an exciting night with a great variety of outstanding music along with her Stone Mountain Boys. Zany Man and Comedian Mike Miclon will warm up the crowd. Concert goers are welcome to come early, set up picnic blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a wonderful evening under the stars. For all 3 Arts Juiblee shows, there is a $5 minimum suggested donation at the door and admission for children 12 and under is complimentary.
New England "jam band" favorites Assembly of Dust headlines the Mount Washington Observatory "Seek the Peak" fundraiser on Friday, July 23. Sponsored by Subaru of America and Tuckerman Brewing Company, the concert is expected to draw thousands of people to the North Conway ski resort's base area.
Other events at Cranmore this summer include Scotland in the Valley on Sat. June 5, in partnership with the New Hampshire Highland Games. It's a day of Scottish music, fun, games and culture at Cranmore.
