Royal Street Cafe' Opens for Dining June 18th

Ride the Chairlift to Lunch and Receive a Complimentary Lift Ticket!
Park City, UT - Deer Valley’s Royal Street Café offers a truly unique dining experience that’s become a mainstay of summer in Park City for locals and visitors. Guests can access Royal Street Café, located mid-mountain Deer Valley, either by car, bike, foot or chairlift. Those who purchase a ticket to ride the Silver Lake Express chairlift to Royal Street Café from the Resort base will receive a complimentary lift voucher for a future visit.

“Enjoying lunch on the deck of Royal Street Café, and riding the chairlift to get there has become a cherished tradition for many,” says Coleen Reardon, Resort director of marketing. “Riding the Silver Lake Express chairlift from the Resort base provides guests a really fun and beautiful way to get to the restaurant. The ride is scenic, peaceful and relaxing. Whether you come to the Resort to mountain bike, hike, or simply run over from your workplace in street clothes, you’ll feel like you’ve had a refreshing break in the middle of the day. As a bonus, we offer guests who purchase a one-time chairlift ride to Royal Street Café the chance to return another day and enjoy a complimentary all-day lift experience, whether they want to use it for mountain biking, hiking, or scenic chairlift riding.”

The Royal Street Café summer promotion works like this: Guests who purchase a $9 one-time ride on the Silver Lake Express chairlift from the Snow Park Ticket Office at the Resort base and then eat lunch at Royal Street Café will be given a voucher which can be redeemed for a scenic lift ride on Deer Valley’s Silver Lake Express and Sterling Express chairlifts any day of the 2010 summer season (June 18 through Labor Day and September 11 & 12, conditions permitting).

This year, Royal Street Café won the Salt Lake Magazine Dining Awards “Best Lunch in Park City,” and for good reason. Innovative, fresh fare is accompanied by refreshing drinks and cool mountain breezes. Some favorite dishes include the Dungeness crab tower, roasted duck spring rolls, the Asian chicken salad with soy-ginger vinaigrette, grilled tuna tacos, creative paninis and maple bacon BBQ bison burger. Seasonal cocktails, such as the 2007/08 Park City Cocktail Contest winner, the Blueberry Mojito or the 2009/10 Park City Cocktail Contest winner, Deer Valley’s Elderflower Cocktail. Royal Street Café is located at the mid-mountain Silver Lake Lodge, adjacent to Deer Valley’s lift-accessed mountain biking operation and is open for lunch seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., June 18 through Labor Day.
