Park City, UT - As certain as the return of summer to Deer Valley’s green mountains is the return of outdoor concerts at the Resort’s beautiful Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Locals and visitors of all ages have come to expect a full repertoire of musical performances, including Utah Symphony | Utah Opera’s Deer Valley Music Festival, the Park City Performing Arts Foundation St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Outdoor Concert Series, the Frontier Bank Community Concert Series presented by Mountain Town Music, and select shows produced by First Tracks Entertainment (FTE) and United Concerts. And now the Resort is offering special summer lodging packages to accommodate concert goers.
As for the summer concert lineup, the Deer Valley Music Festival, presented by Utah Symphony | Utah Opera, runs from July 17 to August 14, 2010; and encompasses a month-long celebration of music, featuring performances of classical and pops at Deer Valley’s renowned Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, Chamber Orchestra and guest chamber performances at Park City’s St. Mary’s Church and salon events in exquisite Deer Valley area homes, where guests will hear and meet artists. 2010 Deer Valley Music Festival performances include: Ben Folds with the Utah Symphony on July 17, Disney in Concert on July 23, Ted Calcara and New Deal Swing on July 24, An American Salute with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on July 30, Bravo Broadway: Broadway Divas! on July 31, 1812 Overture on August 6, Randy Travis with the Utah Symphony on August 7, Mark O’Connor with the Utah Symphony on August 13 and Music of Led Zeppelin with the Utah Symphony on August 14.
