And so incredibly exciting, because it’s unprecedented. No other resort has accomplished this. What it means to me is that both our staff and guests share the vision of excellence and consistency in everything we do. It means that all of the efforts to please our guests and provide an unforgettable experience are validated. We are here for our guests, so if they are happy, we’re happy. 3rd Annual "Keep on Rollin' Charity Car and Bike Show

Brighton, UT - We are pleased to announce the "Keep on Rollin'" Charity Car & Bike Show on this Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Brighton Ski Resort. Over 250 classic and custom cars and motorcycles will be on display from Noon until 5:00 pm. All proceeds will be donated to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, which funds innovative research, and improves the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.

The event is being organized by the Utah Chapter of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Steering Committee member Ryan Stevenson is president of this year's event. Ryan suffered a spinal cord injury in a snowboarding accident three years ago that left him paralyzed. Ryan's love of classic cars and the support of his family and friends were instrumental in his recovery. Ryan believes that it is his responsibility to do what he can to help find a cure for paralysis and help others with spinal cord injuries. Keep on Rollin' is Ryan's way of giving back to the community and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, who have given him so much support.

"We are really grateful for the fantastic support we have received from the business community and the many volunteers who have come together to assure this event will be a huge success. We expect over 2500 people to attend the show, and we hope to raise $25,000 for the Foundation. So, please plan to escape the summer heat and join us up at Brighton on this Saturday July 17th to see some really great cars & bikes, support a really great cause, and enjoy some great food and fun!" said Stevenson.

Local businesses have donated more than $5000 in prizes that will be awarded by raffle drawings during the event. Suggested donation for admission is $2 per person or $5 per family.

Brighton, UT - Friday, April 30, is the deadline for public input which will be instrumental in helping shape the master plan for several of the canyons in the Wasatch including Parley's and both Big & Little Cottonwood - areas where we all live, work or play. The Wasatch Canyons Tomorrow process is evaluating a wide range of policies dealing with watershed, recreation, transportation and development in the canyons.

Or between Salt Lake and Park City?

How about paying a fee to access these canyons?

Weigh in on these critical questions and more by voting today.
The feedback received throughout this process will be integral to the way we protect, preserve and recreate in our canyons for years to come. Please take a few moments of your time (10-15 min.) to complete the public survey found at WasatchCanyons.slco.org
