New Hampshire’s Highest Scenic Gondola Ride Is Free for Dads on Fathers Day
Pinkham Notch, NH - In addition to operating the weekend of Saturday, June 12th & Sunday, June 13th, Wildcat Mountain will be open during the legendary Laconia motorcycle week, weather permitting, on Monday, June 14th and then will re-open again to begin operating daily Thursday, June 17th thru the fall foliage season of late October. The two special midweek opening dates align with the Mt. Washington Auto Road’s annual “Ride To The Sky” events when it allows access to motorcycles only. On those same days, vacationing bikers are invited to come fly Wildcat Mountain on New Hampshire’s only ZipRider zip-line cable ride, the state’s highest scenic gondola, or to simply enjoy the mountainside café.
Then on Fathers Day, Sunday, June 20th, dads (and grandfathers too) can enjoy the Wildcat Express scenic gondola for free when one or more other family members purchase an adult or junior gondola ride. The only one of its kind in North America, the Wildcat Express transforms from New Hampshire’s arguably fastest and most powerful summit quad chairlift during the winter and spring skiing and riding season to the state’s highest summer and fall scenic gondola. The 6,700 foot cable line transports the enclosed 4-person scenic gondolas offering a unique guest experience and opportunity to view Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range from atop the over 4,000 foot summit.
