Mount Ruapehu, NZ - The 2010 Mother Freestyle Series is back this weekend with the Nixon Von Zipper SkiX SnowboardX Event on August 21st at Turoa.
The SkiX SnowboardX is similar to alpine racing in highlighting the most aggressive and technical competitors. This is done by matching up to four competitors head to head on a specially designed course in a tournament style event where top placers are recognised and emphasised.
Please note helmets are mandatory!
Registration is from 8:30 - 10am upstairs in the Alpine Bar. Practise, and race briefing will run from 10am - with the event set to kick off in the Terrain Park from 11am.
Prize giving will run from 5pm, location to be confirmed.
