Donner Summit, CA - Sugar Bowl Resort extends its popular fine dining experience by hosting four additional Saturday evening dinners this September at the exclusive Lake Mary Cabin, with portions of each evening’s proceeds benefiting local non-profit organizations. Enjoy spacious patio style dining with sweeping views of the high alpine lake and surrounding mountain vistas, while Chef Al Davis serves up French-inspired California cuisine. Dining hours are 5:30 – 9:00pm, and reservations are highly recommended.
Sugar Bowl’s four additional Lake Mary Cabin dinners this September will be:
September 4 – Sierra Senior Services: Sierra Senior Services feeds and supports seniors in the North Lake Tahoe and Truckee community so all seniors in our community will have access to nutritious meals, social opportunities, and health and wellness programs.
September 11 – Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe: The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of pets through adoption, community spay/neuter services and humane education programs.
September 18 – Gateway Mountain Center: The Gateway Mountain Center produces programs to increase eco-literacy, health and empowerment in today's youth. Serving over 1,000 students annually from around Northern California and providing ongoing leadership, adventure and wellness programs for at-risk teens in the Truckee/North Tahoe region.
September 25 – Sierra Avalanche Center: The mission of the Sierra Avalanche Center includes disseminating current snow pack stability information to the general public; providing educational information, knowledge, and understanding of avalanches to recreational users and groups; and facilitating communication in the region to reduce the impact of avalanches on recreation, industry, and transportation through a partnership with the United States Forest Service.
