Belleayre Mountain Season Ends on the April 11th with Outstanding Spring Conditions

Highmount, NY - If your mountain is closed, make plans to be at Belleayre for the last weekend of skiing and riding in the Catskills for the 2009-2010 season. Saturday April 10th, is the First Annual Winni/Belle/Wana Bump Relay Race! Teams of 3 will race through all the best bumps Belleayre has to offer in one run. The first leg will begin on Winnisook, followed by the middle leg of the lower Belleayre Run bumps, with the final leg on the lower Wanatuska bumps in front of the Overlook Lodge. This will be a head to head elimination challenge so be prepared for multiple runs for advancing teams. Registration will be at noon on the Overlook Deck and the competition will begin at the top of Winnisook at 1pm. This is a free event. Join in the fun because this is the time of year to celebrate moguls. So soft, so forgiving, so poundable!

Sunday, April 11th is the Superintendent's Long Drive Contest. This end of season event is always a good time. Join us behind the Overlook Lodge at 2pm and show off that golf swing that’s been getting rusty all winter. DJ Heat will be here Saturday and Sunday and the weather looks good, so make plans to get your last New York turns of the year at Belleayre Mountain! Join us for our famous end of season party!
