The Gathering at RED Mountain April 2 - 4: Bios and Bands for the Gathering

Rossland, BC - RED Mountain and POWDER Magazine are presenting The Gathering from April 2 – 4th, 2010. With the countdown on for the spectacular ski party, the event is crystallizing to be an event for everyone to enjoy!

“The Mountain Mash Up”, Friday, April 2nd (doors open at 6:30), located at RED Mountain Day Lodge will play host to a number of photographers and adventurers from around the world and the After Party will be featuring Wassabi Collective. Wassabi Collective’s “sound fuses everything from pop, rock, hip hop, roots reggae, funk, jazz and everything in between, wrapping it all up with their own identifiable twist that has captivated dance floors and won them legions of fans across the country.”

Swift. Silent. Deep will have its Kootenay Premiere Saturday, April 3rd at the Rossland Miner’s Hall (doors open at 3:30pm). The regional matinee showing will show the story that changed the face of hardcore ski culture in North America and ultimately redefined a sport. Click Here for Trailer!

“In the Crosshairs”, presented by Powder Magazine, will commence Saturday, April 3rd at the Rossland Miner’s Hall (doors reopen for the evening 6:30pm). The event will host some of the most decorated POWDER Magazine photographers who’ll be showcasing some of their best work. The After Party will feature Five Alarm Funk: “The band’s wicked cross-rhythms and frenetic, costumed stage show appeals to jazz fans and clubs kids alike. Five Alarm Funk has carved out a word of mouth fan base from a series of crowd-pleasing performances at clubs, concert halls, and festivals throughout Western Canada.”
